Story 1 - Home Alone

It was my first night alone at home, and I was feeling a bit uneasy. Just me and my dog, trying to settle in for the night. I heard on the news about some serial killer on the loose, so I made sure to lock all the doors and windows before heading to bed.
As I lay there, trying to sleep, I heard it—a dripping sound coming from somewhere in the house. I tried to ignore it at first, but it just kept getting louder and louder. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore, so I got up to investigate.
I checked the kitchen, the bathroom, even the basement—nothing. The dripping sound seemed to be coming from everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Feeling a bit spooked, I went back to bed and reached down to pet my dog for some comfort.
As my little doggy started licking my hands, I was reassured that I wasn't alone. With the comfort of my fluffy companion, I finally went to sleep.
I woke up the next morning, with sunlight kissing my face. I opened the closet door and screamed in terror. My lovely dog! She was hanging upside down! Blood was dripping down her body. This was where the dripping noise came from!
And as I looked up at the closet door, I saw a message scrawled in blood: "HUMANS CAN LICK, TOO!"
Story 2 - The Giggle

Last night, a friend hurried me out of the house to catch the opening act of the local bar's musical night. After a few drinks, I realized my phone was not in my pocket. I searched for it everywhere - the table where we were sitting at the bar, the bathrooms, the dance floor, anything that I could think of.
Without any luck, I used my friend's phone to call mine. After 3 rings, someone answered. There was a slow, raspy giggle, and they hung up soon. They never picked up after that. Convinced that my phone was stolen, I headed home disappointed.
There it was. My phone. Lying on my nightstand. Right where I left it earlier. Looks like I never took it to the bar.
Then, whose giggle was it?!
